What’s New in Dragontail Peak 4066
This is a small bugfix release that addresses a few issues encountered in prior builds.
New Features
- Added quick-export feature to the right click menu of any device – for when you want to get data out but not setup a full node graph
- Viewport image based lighting no longer removes the sun by default – for true HDR panos you now can control whether the IBL provides only skylight or also any sunlight present
Bugfixes
- Fixed crash when running CLI automation scripting
- Fixed major versioning issue in Code device where the actual source was un-versioned.
- Fixed visual striping artifact in the Select Convexity device with plan/profile curvature selected (Hit the Rock and Soil macro)
- Fixed broken sliders on non-default locales
- Fixed AVX512 crash on linux
- Fixed errors in macro dependency handling that was causing some macros to be weird and laggy.
- Fixed scenarios where Previewer would stop auto-previewing after a build or undo/redo until preview button clicked
- Fixed issue where Viewtarget tracking was accidently including the previously-selected device in previewer requests
- Various further build and threading hardening
- Browsing example projects no longer accidently changes the primary project sky pano
Tweaks
- Tear-off header backgrounds are no longer accidently bright
- Device spatial parameter port rail is now more visually obvious
- Replaced crappy built-in checkmarks in menus
- The viewport now lets you know if it doesn’t know how to display a particular (valid) packet
